What a wedding!
Inasmuch as it took us 19 hours to get home yesterday (a trip that was supposed to take about 7) I'm pretty much going on adrenaline still.
But I thought maybe, since I'm incoherent, a few photos would suffice -- just to give you the setting and suchlike. It was a lovely day and a good time was had by all. The top photo is where they got married. The second is the ceremony. The third is right before the reception. The last one is the dance floor where the barn dance was held.

Thanks, Christa! It was a gorgeous day all the way around. I would post others, but I feel like it would be invading their privacy. So I'm contenting myself with these. Anyway, it was special and memorable and I'm so happy to have been able to be there to celebrate it with them.

Wow, those were GORGEOUS pictures!!! That is exactly the type of outdoor wedding I would love to have...I just have to find the husband first :)..LOL
The only tricky part of an outdoor wedding is, of course, the weather but your day look perfect!!
Anne, also thanks for mentioning the where your website music came from...I am going to look him up right now!! I am a huge fan of country music and enjoy bluegrass as well :)
Also, I just finished reading "Eight Second Wedding" and I absolutely loved it!!! I need to find a cowboy like Chan :)...and then I'll get that outdoor wedding..LOL!!! I know some authors will reissue their earlier books and if you get the chance I am sure plenty of readers would love to get their hands on this book!! Again, thank you! thank you! thank you! for giving me the chance to win this book :)

So glad you liked The Eight Second Wedding. I had a ton of fun with that book. And I could have introduced you to the cowboy who helped me with all the logistics of it (a bull rider like Chan), but now he's married!
You win a few, you lose a few with outdoor weddings. One of our other sons got married last October in a wedding that was supposed to be outside. But it snowed that day and then rained, and then got sunny, and then rained. So right at the last minute they were married inside the lodge in front of a lovely stone fireplace. But then the sun came out as they were getting married, and so the reception was half indoors, half out -- and very much fun all the way around!
I would love to see Chan's book reissued, but that's not my decision right now -- it's up to Harlequin who owns the rights to republication at the moment. If, someday, I get them back, I would love to reissue it. It's one of my favorites, for sure.
Glad you like the music. I do, too, obviously. And the blue grass group who played at our son's wedding is called Broken Strings. They have a really nice CD which we bought after the wedding and have been listening to. Brings back memories!
