I’m in the last gasp of Nick and Edie’s book so I don’t have a moment to spare. But I would be remiss if I failed to acknowledge the birthday of the man in the towel who has been such an 
inspiration to so many (mine included) heroes.
If a picture is worth a thousand words (and I dearly wish my editor believed it, as I’d send her these and be done with it), let me offer you several thousand to enjoy while I’m writing and shaping up the end of Nick and Edie.
When you look at the ones with the motorcycle, think George from my new book Hired By Her Husband. Oh, heck, go ahead and think of George with any of them you want. They’ll do!
