Anne Gracie has a new book coming out October 5th. ![]()
If that isn’t an incentive to get my own book finished so I can read hers, I don’t know what is.
I’ve read bits and pieces of Rafe’s story, but since it sailed off to her publisher, I’ve been waiting for the ‘real thing’ – bound between covers. Now The Accidental Wedding is almost upon us. I can hardly wait.
Anne was one of my favorite writers before she became one of my favorite people. It has been a privilege to know her and enjoy her company, her wit, her charm and her extraordinarily wonderful heroes for the past ten plus years.
One of the things that makes Anne such a good friend is she knows instinctively when I’m drowning and throws me a life-line. This week I am drowning in Nick and Edie’s story. I had to write a blog, too, for The Pink Heart Society on Thursday.
It is Thursday Talk-Time. As in, talk with a writer. Or someone else if you want, but I wanted to talk with a writer. Specifically Anne. So I sent her a bunch of questions and she answered them – all about The Accidental Wedding and other books in her life.
The results will be up on the Pink Heart when the clock strikes 12:01 in England. That’s still Wednesday for me. It’s halfway through Thursday for Anne.
But I do hope you’ll stop and check it out. And tell Anne thanks for writing my blog for me!

Can’t wait
Thanks, Lacey. Me, too. The interview whetted my appetite even more for Rafe’s book. I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed the bits and pieces! Anne’s books always make me smile — at the same time that they always touch my heart. The best sort of book.
